The four year old writes poetry
In the form of hearts on paper.
He reads each line carefully
Reciting each syllable of his mind
From his little hearts on paper.
As he grows and learns, he writes
New and challenging words to rhyme
Written on heart shaped paper.
Each verse meticulously crafted
Describing his every life experience
Surrounded by hearts on paper.
Young man now, writing sophisticately
He falls in love for the first time
Poetic confessions pouring feelings out
And ends it with hearts on paper.
