You're so fat and ugly
Nobody will ever want you
You look like a whale
You're hair is dull and black
And you don't know how to act
You're a nerd if I saw one
Head always in a stupid book
Why don't you get a makeover
Do something about your looks!
Get rid of that mug on your face
You're not walking with me
Your image is so sorry
Your feet are too big
Well somehow, enough words
Didn't get the point across enough
There was no end to this misery
Just condenscending remark, after
Put down and let down
Constant stomping on her crown
Of dignity and grace
It was no wonder she left
Never to return to that place
She grew up ashamed
Her existence was a disgrace
Afraid to hold her head up
Embarassed of who she was.
Many years later, she
Still hears those voices in her head
Blocking out the sounds
With each cry in the mirror
Dying her hair a new color to suit
Constantly frustrated over her shoes
No clothes stylish enough to
Disguise rolls of fat
She hides behind a make up mask
Hating each book, she loves to read
Not sure if she can escape the insecurity
