Fire & Rain

Woe to the heavens
Earth is on fire
It burnt from the sins
Of mankind's desires

It burnt from the rivers
That once used to flow
It burnt from the lands
That once used to grow

It burnt from the depth
Mother Earth is in pain
For duration of her tears
Come fire and rain

It burnt from destruction
Which plagues Earth's life
Desecration at alarming rates
Causing centuries of strife

With help of mankind
Mother Earth can overcome
All the destruction through time
Horrible things that mankind has done

Milled Truth

Today you're just a pretty sight
Oh but what you see in one night!
Gears of mills whom witnessed history
Soft spoken age containing mysteries
Encountering years of economical rides
How many stories do you contain inside?
Sharing endurance as if it were a style
Turning in the face of controversial miles
Holding your stance, despite plenty disdain
Resisting bitterness when left out in the rain
Turning revolutions, keeping up with time
One special day, the truth will be told
Kingdom will return as in days of old

Early Morning Lullabies

As tropical rain performs evening songs
Memories flood of past evenings gone
Holding space for frivolous dreams
Hoping one day will realize what seems
Morning dawn, dew frosted petals pristine
Mountains splendid, ocean serene
Beneath golden rays of pink stretched skies
Early morning birds chatter morning lullabies
