Dear Dad,
Many moons ago, I came into your life and our bond was thus created. From stories of how I was your little girl and used to wait for you to come home, all the way unto this day where I always make sure my Dad has a place in my home for himself and still wait for you to come home. I guess some things never change. You will always be the first man in my life.
Yeah life had its ups and downs and we went through hell and back together, but Dad, the key word that I always hang onto is that we did it together. Like a family should. You never let those obstacles stop you from being a father, as hard as it was. You never let anything come between us and that was my first lesson in real love. You loved me enough not to leave monger than I could handle.
You never knew God per se, but you also never knew how many of those qualities are within you. You never realized how much you have taught me.
You've come a long way Dad, and I am proud of the man you are today. If ever did a man age like fine wine, you have certainly done that. I'll always be a proud daughter, Dad. I love you.
