Forever

Gently kissing her fears away
Assuring her that he is here to stay
Knowing that he is all she sees
He doesn't waste his time on envy
Secure in her, and all she is
Feeling her is all he needs

Defining moments
Sprawled across time
Confirming actions
Coinciding sublime

He knew they were meant to connect
Understood how circumstances tore her down
Rather than run from the tears of the one he loved
Being a man of valor, he embraced her in
All her raw essence, watching her heal
While he drew the blueprint to
Prosper alongside her for
All the days of
His life
As one

Forever

Nohoikawai - Prophecy Unveiled

Nohoikawai
I see you once again
Nohoikawai
You reveal more each time
Nohoikawai
The center of it all
The reason for its bond
The heart of all its trust

One who dwelleth beside still water
Content in warm sunlight
He who overcometh all
No time wasted anterior.

Nohoikawai
How so much to say
Nohoikawai
Your spirit speaks so loud
Nohoikawai
Reveal evasive dreams
Bring forth your light
Embrace your inner rhythm

One who remains steadfast
Driven by reigns of loyalty
Observing stars in darkened skies
Protection of the one.

Nohoikawai
Prophecy unveiled
Nobody could have seen
What you have shown
No fortune untold by its master
Heightened breath of life
Rapid the exchange
Solidifying truth
Bound in light
Fortitude of righteousness
Pillar of grace
Manifested destiny

Decipher

Beauty lies within the skies
Parents singing children's lullabies
Slumber revealing worlds unknown
Reaping from seeds of past lives sown
Collecting data to even scores
No time to waste on relentless wars
Calculating moves, inspiring dreams
Deciphering codes etched in seams
Confirmation dropping dynamite
Exploiting truth of darkened light
Balancing between galaxies
Striking down fallacies

Essence Forever More

Essence driven beyond broken dreams
Painful events aren't always what they seem
There seems to be silver lining in the sky
Such as to remind one who you are and why
Gentle reflections of who you truly are
Not that blemished bullshit societal scar
Eviction notices to rented empty space
Mindless connections become disgrace
Cutting loses that wage senseless war
Generating deeper roots of peace forever more

True North

Every compass has directions four
But a true north holds much more
Than what ordinary compasses could ever hold
Than the greatest story ever to have been told

My true north
Leads me where still waters lie
Where steep valley walls embrace me
Safely tucked away from danger's reach

Game Over

Slow to begin
Accelerating with time
Gaining strength
Momentum rising
Interception
Deception
Game Over

The Woman You've Become

This poem is dedicated to my only beloved daughter
My resurrection in full correction

Every time I think of the woman you've become
I sit and ask myself, just what have I done?

From the choice of your name
To your eyes, a mirrored treat

Since the moment I felt you
Alive, safely in my womb

Moments we cherished
Battles endured together

Years of testimony
As the years often reveal

As I sit back to watch the woman you've become
I think to myself, just what have I done?

Perched in the corner
Watching over you

Noticing how you
Conduct your affairs

I can see that you
Handle all life with great care

I see how you flutter
When missions are complete

I see how you empathize
When the load gets heavy

I see how you defend
Each boundary you create

I see how you respect
Your sparrow's fate

And I sit back to reflect on what I have done
That makes me so proud of the woman you've become

Myriad of Illusion

Pale moon high
Fateful midnight
Astrological action
Two stars collide
Abashed in sparkles
Moments entwined
Chivalry presented
Epic parallel ride
Drifting in galaxies
Distances apart
Crossing skies
Planetary specialty
Cosmic event over
Finite coexistence
Infinitely bonded
Never and forever

Neither existing
Coexisting
Primal
Breathtaking
Utopic
Destiny

Dimension of fate
Constellations
Whisked away
Myriad of illusion

Restoration En Route

Rain upon the floor of heaven
Glorious sight to behold
Lush fauna speaking tones of green
Amidst speckles of edible delicacies
Juicy purple mangoes, adorn trees
Sweet touch of honey bee
All things life

Asphalt roads bridging distances
Concrete walls enclosing secrets
Screaming darkened eyelids
Jungles of rubbish strewn streets
All thing desparity

Builders developing subdivisions
Empty, unsold labor
Perched upon burials
Haunted to spirituality
Abandoned

Trees in flower pots
Awaiting to root
Food in growth
Restoration en route

Mankind Lost

Distances between dimensions
Wisdom bequested, ancestral generation
Frequent confirmation
Joyous deviation
Creating
Unification

Alone wisdom cried from the hilltop
Knowledge falling upon deafened ears
People searching for salvation
Global disasters cut remaining trees
But salvation is not near.

Waiting on Jesus to do what we should have done
What we should have done
Long long ago.

She cries, wisdom cries
But no one is listening
Unsheltered disenfranchisement
Ending times roar war cries
Louder than waves of deceit
Trumpets are sounded
Beasts lie in await
The kill is near
Slaughtering cries
Victims shipwrecked
Only strong survive
Yet wisdom cries
She cries knowledge
Upon deafened ears
Upon deaded ears
Mankind lost

The Sisterhood of Kanaka Maoli

Her people were her everything in her world
She was wisdom's voice and mother nature's little girl
A mother and friend to many,  but alone on her path
She took no prisoners, she turned hardship into laughter
Since day one, always losing her life
But an airplant of sorts, she continued to thrive
A sister to many, a lover to few
When times were hard, she knew what to do
Gaslighting effects destroyed her beliefs
So she ran from the liars, the paupers of deceit
She ran until she could no longer stand on her feet

Broken down, she cried in despair
Thank God for one sister who really did care
That sister took care and dressed all her wounds
They played and they laughed from sunrise to high moon
They healed and they grew, oh what a sight
Building lo'i and gardens every day and night
Healing the people, masses at a time
Realizing their dreams, saving every dime
Taking no prisoners but setting them free
For this is the sisterhood of Kanaka Maoli

Write

Write.
When your heart flutters,
Write.
When your tears fall,
Write.
When the world has fallen on you,
Write.

Write as if your life depends on it.
Write as if your soul was speaking.
Write as if it were all that's left,
But write.

Write if you are right
Write if you are wrong
Write about everything
a bird
a tree
a morning song.

Write through the good times,
Write through the bad.
Write in distress, but
Never forget to give thanks when you're glad.
