The sounds of silence are louder than any word compilation
Expectations of a presence, when yet there is none to be had
Listening with one large mouth, but not two capable ears
Never hearing reasoning, for that would state formidable revelation
Emotional wounds preferred over ideal thoughts of elation
Legacy ghosts float while shouting unheard wisdom
Presence viewed as confrontation, breeching shame
Friends seeking self-service by claiming representation
Because absence speaks in volumes.
